Hi, I'm Sophia McDermott. I;m a World Champion, Lifestyle Coach, Fitness Expert, Nutritionist, Speaker and Entrepreneur. And I am dedicated to helping you be the best version of yourself through lifestyle, health, fitness and empowerment.
Originally born in Australia and now living my best life in the USA, through determination, grit, and an unwavering belief in myself I transformed from being a sick child with chronic asthma to a multiple time World Champion, trainer, coach and fitness nutritionist as well as a successful business woman in a very male dominated field.
My career took me to the States where I now live permanently with my two daughters.
As a chronic asthmatic, I started noticing a direct correlation between the food I ate and my asthma. This was the start of my journey as an athlete and with nutrition where I started learning all I could about how food has the power to heal.
My twin sister and I dedicated a good 10 years to gymnastics training and I then moved on to a martial arts called Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to become the
1st Australian female Black Belt and a multiple time Pan Am and World Champion.
In addition to my athletic career I am a certified trainer and fitness nutritionist with NASM and I have dedicated almost 20 years to coaching and guiding clients and athletes with performance and mindset, health, nutrition, weight loss and guidance for overall healthy lifestyles.
